Hanging up mosquito nets Mosquito nets have to be installed properly if they are to provide reliable protection. What is more, if you roll over during the night and wind up lying against the side of the net, you are liable to get bitten. Getting nighttime protection from mosquitoes is easy in the home: just choose a generously-sized mosquito net and hang it up so that it reaches all the way to the floor. Box-shaped nets are a better choice than bell-shaped ones as they offer greater distance to the body. On the road, hanging up a mosquito net sometimes requires a bit of thought, but with a bit of improvisation and imagination reliable protection can be achieved. In general, nets can hung from walls or ceilings with the help of string, hook screws, drawing pins or Tesa® Powerstrips. As an alternative they can be suspended from a few lengths of string tied across the room.
